WELLNESS WAY – CLERMONT, FL

What is Wellness Way?

The Wellness Way Area Plan is located in the southern portion of Lake County. It is bordered on the West by Orange County’s Horizon West Development. Wellness Way has been recognized for many years as an area with significant potential for economic development.

Wellness Way’s Impact on Lake County

Wellness Way will enable Lake County to both diversify its economy and protect natural resources. It will strengthen Lake County’s connectivity with other economic hubs in the region and will create a long-term master plan for the South Lake Region.  It will promote economic development while encouraging fiscally-efficient and well-balanced development patterns.

Olympus: Wellness Way Stage One

The first major project for Wellness Way is Olympus, a massive sports venue project. Olympus is expected to break ground in the first quarter of 2019. Parts of it will be up and running by 2020 once the land is purchased and approved by Clermont officials.

It will attract sport related businesses, from retail to professional services. Some of the professional services include personal training, sport biomechanics, sports nutrition, and orthopedics.

The project will incorporate:

  • 713,713 SF of office space
  • 231,304 SF of retail space
  • 129,055 SF of restaurants
  • 248,468 SF of sports facilities
  • 1,312 guest rooms

The project will be split into subsections:
