RECEIVERSHIP

Receivership is a crucial tool in the protection and preservation of real estate value. Selecting a Receiver that has the experience and the resources to stabilize and maintain a real estate asset is vital. The Receiver is technically an agent of the court and must answer to the court and all parties to the lawsuit. Appointments are subject to final approval by the presiding court and are generally made at the recommendation of the plaintiff in a foreclosure lawsuit. Receivership services are normally provided on a time & material basis and are generally rendered in concert with other property management, leasing & brokerage services.

The Receivership services outlined below are provided by our Receiver, Trenton A. Scott, CCIM. The outlined Real Estate Management and Brokerage Services are provided by First Capital Property Group. We have provided Receivership and support services to the court in dozens of case including cases in the 5th, 7th, 9th, 10th, 12th, 18th & 20th Circuit Courts.
