ABOUT DAN WILSON

Dan comes to First Capital Property Group with over twenty years of investment and real estate experience, including ten combined years focused on the institutional investment management and development finance areas of commercial real estate. With a background in industrial design-build (Haskell) projects and intermodal logistics (CSX), Dan is using this expertise to assist industrial clients in finding opportunities and deploying capital in the current market. His exposure to a wide variety of purchase and sale structures, net lease financings, private equity/debt funds, and first-hand experience in the design-build industry allows him to create significant value for clients, across mandates in acquisition, disposition, leasing, site selection, development, and financing areas.

Dan’s background in acting as a trusted fiduciary in the individual and institutional investment arenas, and creatively solving client financing needs in the design-build space has allowed him to think strategically, with client interests always at the core. He has co-managed a
$1.5B real estate portfolio across all property types and risk profiles and specializes in combining prudent market and data analysis with exceptional client service skills. He has had a broad exposure to a wide variety of asset classes, including real estate, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, equities, derivatives, and fixed income, which allows him to provide a unique perspective and deep experience in structuring creative commercial real estate solutions.

Dan is married to his wonderful wife, Jenn, a marketing professional with Exact Sciences. They spoil their energetic black lab, Ella, and also like to enjoy family time with Dan’s two sons (Colin and Trey). Aside from his professional activities, Dan spends most of his time with Jenn, training and participating in various endurance events, mostly triathlons. Having a passion for helping others achieve their goals, Dan is also a USAT certified triathlon coach, and is an Ambassador for Bike Law – a cycling advocacy group promoting the protection and advancement for all vulnerable road users.
