This 75,000 square foot center was built in 1978 and formerly anchored by a grocery and drugstore. The exterior of the center was renovated in early 2007 at the cost of $276,000. First Capital Property Group (FCPG) assisted the owner with the renovation, hiring the architect and contractor. The new anchor - Family Dollar - opened its doors in December 2007.

FCPG assumed management and leasing functions for Oakridge Plaza in 2000 from the former owner, and assisted this owner in selling the property in 2004. After the sale, FCPG retained the management and leasing functions and assisted the new owner in finding additional value in their investment by carving out an outparel for a gas station.
